Terms of Service
Effective August 10, 2026
1. Agreement to terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of DocPilot AI (the “Service”), a tool that converts bank-statement PDFs and images into spreadsheet files. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The service
The Service lets you upload financial documents and receive extracted transaction data as Excel or CSV files. Extraction is performed using automated and AI-assisted processing and may not be 100% accurate. You are responsible for reviewing all output before relying on it for any financial, accounting, tax, or legal purpose.
3. Accounts and eligibility
You may use one free conversion without an account. Additional use requires registering an account. You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
4. Plans, credits, and payment
The Service offers a free allowance and paid subscription plans measured in pages per month. Paid subscriptions are billed through our payment processor, Razorpay. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges until you cancel. Page allowances reset each billing period and, except where required by law, are non-refundable and do not roll over. We may change pricing on reasonable notice.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload documents you do not have the right to process;
- Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or infringing purpose;
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service;
- Circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or the free-conversion allowance;
- Upload malware or content that violates the rights of others.
6. Your content
You retain all rights to the documents and data you upload (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited license to process Your Content solely to provide the Service. We do not use Your Content to train AI models. Uploaded originals are deleted after processing; see our Privacy Policy for retention details.
7. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party providers (including cloud hosting, AI/OCR processing, and payment processing). Your use may be subject to those providers’ terms, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that extracted data will be complete, accurate, or error-free. The Service is not a substitute for professional accounting, tax, or legal advice.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DocPilot AI will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [your jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located there.
